What is this? A linux blog?

A while ago a friend and I were talking about all the things linux could be installed on. We talked about uClinux in DVD players, OpenWRT/DD-WRT/Tomato/etc on home routers, and he showed me this tablet PC on which he wanted to install linux. He told me he just didn't have the time to try it, but if I wanted it I could have it. Thanks Brad!

So here we are, almost 4 months later and it's been sitting around long enough. It's time to brush of the dust and get to work. First of all, I don't have a power adapter and the batteries are dead. The system required 16V and 3A. I looked on digikey and was amazed that a power supply that could handle those requirements was almost $100!!! I looked around my apartment trying to find something that would work, then I found it! My laptop supply was 15V and 5A! It even had the right polarity. So I plugged it in, and nothing... The plug was the wrong size.

I made a trip to the electronics store and got the connector I needed, I installed it, and....

Now I need to figure out how to install linux on this.... :D
